Training at WRSP
Common questions
Who does WRSP train?
WRSP is built around athlete development. The high school membership serves grades 9–12. Private training is available for college athletes, adults, former athletes, and people whose schedule or needs require a more focused format. Team partnerships serve schools, clubs, and athletic organizations.
Does an athlete need lifting experience?
No. Coaching begins at the athlete's current level. New athletes learn positions, technique, terminology, and training expectations before complexity or load is added.
What does a typical training session include?
The exact session depends on the athlete and their program. It may include an individualized warm-up, movement preparation, speed or power work, strength training, conditioning, and recovery work. The session is part of a larger plan—not a random daily circuit.
How are previous injuries handled?
Relevant injury history and current restrictions are part of the starting context. Training is modified within the coach's scope and coordinated with qualified healthcare providers when appropriate. WRSP does not replace medical care or physical therapy.
Is a performance evaluation required?
Not for every route. An evaluation is especially useful when the athlete has a meaningful injury history, needs a detailed baseline, or wants clarity before choosing a program. WRSP will recommend it when it improves the starting decision.
How does the high school membership work?
The membership is $249 per month plus tax. Athletes book through DELTA and can train Monday through Thursday during coached membership hours. Each athlete follows an individual program, and sessions are limited to eight athletes at one time.
Is the membership a long-term contract?
No. It renews monthly. Members can cancel through the billing portal, and access continues through the current paid billing period.
What if the athlete already lifts with a team?
WRSP accounts for the work the athlete is already doing. The individual program can complement team training, adjust around the competitive schedule, and address needs that a team-wide program cannot individualize.
Can WRSP train an entire team?
Yes. Team partnerships can include program design, testing, on-floor coaching, staff education, and implementation support. The structure is built around the organization's athletes, schedule, space, and existing staff.
